LATHRUP VILLAGE — Three people were arrested after a battle at a bridal store at 5:55 p.m. March 2 in the 26700 block of Southfield Road.

A fight broke out the day after police were called to that location on a dispute over payment for a wedding dress. The row started when three individuals entered the store, approached the female owner of the store, spit in her face and slapped her, police said. The individuals then attacked the owner’s son and husband, wreaking havoc inside while other customers tried to stay out of the way, according to police. Mannequins and display racks were knocked over, and the fray eventually made its way outside the front of the store, when Lathrup Village police officers arrived on the scene and broke it up.

Arrested were a 44-year-old Sterling Heights man, a 40-year-old Warren man and a 44-year-old Sterling Heights man for aggravated felonious assault.

Minor injuries were sustained by the victims.
